I purchased the edelbrock pump also and returned it due to the same threading problem and when I received the new one I tapped the threads and that solved my problem.
Not because of the great weather but because of strong gas fumes coming from my exhaust on my 69 440 charger. Found no gas leaks but I did find filler tube vent plugged.
Could this be the problem?
Someone prior to my ownership of my 69 Charger repaired damaged drivers side LCA K member bushing by re-welding it in a downward position then pounded torsion bar to fit. I am replacing member with QA1 K member. Will subframe shift after removal and can anyone offer some precautionary measures...
