    Bummer! No oil Pressure

Maybe a long shot here - But if a lifter has popped out of its bore due to a bent pushrod or other valve train issue - the engine can't make oil pressure even when the oil is pumping. If you still have issues after putting a new pump in (Or while you wait for one) - Maybe rotate the engine with...

    Ignition issue

Was the street inclined? Maybe the neutral safety switch is involved (Assuming Automatic trans). Had a similar intermittent issue and if I ran a jumper wire to from the switch terminal at the starter relay to ground, I could start the car using the ignition switch every time. (Shifting to...

FOUND 1968-70 B-body Rallye Gauge Lens

Want to buy: Looking to replace my cracking instrument lens on my 68 Charger. Just the lens, not the whole cluster. 1968, 1969, and 1970 lenses are the same. If you have one in decent shape, I'm interested - Please shoot me a PM.

Another Line Loc / Roll Control Thread

When I bought my 68 Charger, it came with the line lock installed before the distribution block. Yes, it did illuminate the brake light in the dash when activated with enough pressure. I liked it as it let me know the system and distribution block pressure switch was still working. The install...

    Roller rockers time?

Say what you will about UTG, but I believe his experience can be helpful. Skip to 1:13 to get right the the rocker arm part: Seemed related to me. Even though this is a small block, you could be having a similar lifter problem where the lifter is not pumping up (or bleeding down) and...

75 lbs. oil pressure to ZERO in 10 seconds. WTF?

Good point on the solid lifter cam setup! I missed that - My mistake. - In my case, it was a stock lifter/valvetrain setup, and I didn't realize if a lifter was not present, neither was the oil pressure. Guess I'll leave my reply in case it helps someone else. Good luck and I hope you get this...

75 lbs. oil pressure to ZERO in 10 seconds. WTF?

In my opinion, when you lost oil pressure due to a hard brake - That is when a lifter collapsed (Even for a moment), allowed a pushrod to pop out, and now a lifter is no longer in its bore. (Had this happen to me during a hard acceleration once). Did most of the oil pump suggestions here...

Summit in tank fuel pump kit.

I agree the Summit in-tank kit looks like a Tanks, Inc. setup. I personally enjoy the whole replacement tank they offer - I installed one in our '69 Charger and enjoy the following benefits: Being the car is (Sadly) not driven often, we can now avoid the problems associated from the fuel...

Aftermarket AC and Firewall Insulation Question

Got one for the Aftermarket AC Installers - My Question is - When installing a complete aftermarket AC system - What Firewall Insulation (Under dash) did you go with? There are typically 2 kits for b-bodies (The fiberglass with black cardboard stuff) - One with and one without AC. Or would it...

    Hello From Pomona Ca

Greetings! Getting re-started on my 1968 Charger project, and I need help right off the bat! I need some help finding a good shop to take my 440 block to have it cleaned and prepped. The places I used to know are long gone, so any recommendations in the SoCal area would really help. Little...

    Fuel gauge problems

If the gage is always at/below empty, and your gage and wiring checks out per previous spot-on posts - It's very likely the brass float has a hole in it. Fairly easy to fix once you have the sending unit out of the tank.
