    That one would be a challenge to fix! It would need the halves separated for sure. If you take the plunge this is the urethane dampener that goes in between. I would try sweet talking Dubb first tho----

    It stops compressing air and freewheels at a given tank PSI. Pay attention or you get the ruler across your knuckles.

    Thanks for the replies guys. Not real visible in the picture, but it does have finned intercooler tubing behind the big pulley/fan. These big Quincy compressors also have "unloaders" visible on top of the cylinders that stop it from building pressure on startup, and also will keep the valves...

    Went over to Montana and picked this up today, came from a sawmill that shut down a couple years ago. The air tank is a 500 gallon propane tank. I plan to drive the pump with my tractor PTO and use it for sandblasting, maybe a pumpkin cannon too. I just thought it was cool and had to have it!

    With the metal work patched up and hammered out the best I can get it, I sealed it all up with epoxy yesterday. Had just enough left to do this, I used 4 gallons so far on the shell and suspension parts.

    Put the hood back together after I cleaned it up and epoxy primed, replaced the urethane foam dampening gobs and welded it back together.

It had been hit a couple times, the fin was bent up and the top sheet metal buckled and oil canning...
