Is this original rear glass “clear” or “tinted”?

FWIW, here's a pic of my tag off of my '70 Satellite. The broadcast sheet may still be in the rear seat. I'll look tonight. Thanks.

I’ll look closer at my tag. But it is very rusty. Thanks for the clue.

"To-Do" or "Not-To-Don't" list after receiving back from painting / body shop?

In hindsight, yes. I should have installed the 4-speed hump and subframe connectors already. I don't have Graveyard Carz money so I'm doing the best I can. I left the stuff on the car (deck lid, doors, hood, fenders, etc.) in that picture per the instruction of the body shop as opposed to...

"To-Do" or "Not-To-Don't" list after receiving back from painting / body shop?

What would be a good "To-Do" or "Not-To-Do" list when I receive my car back from painting at the body shop? Worded another way, what are some of your "lessons learned" when you guys have fully restored a Mopar? Should I Por-15 certain areas? If so, which areas? Should I remove the fuel tank...

MoparLeo door hinge rebuild service rocks!

What MoparLeo said above. I think it was ~$230 for the service. Cheap ain't good and good ain't cheap.

MoparLeo door hinge rebuild service rocks!

I sent my ‘70 Satellite door hinges off to MoparLeo recently. I got them back in a little k er two weeks and they look almost too good to install! The transaction process couldn’t have been better. I just wanted to recommend his services.

‘70 Satellite 318 to 440 torque box upgrade necessary?

Yes, I’m thinking of doing this for sure. It may not be necessary, but it seems to make good sense.

‘70 Satellite 318 to 440 torque box upgrade necessary?

My ‘70 satellite originally had a 318 with an automatic transmission and open rear diff. I’m going to upgrade to a 440 four-speed with a limited slip rear diff supported with new, upgraded rear leaf springs. I do NOT plan on drag racing this car with big sticky slicks on a prepped track. But...

Thanks for the information. Currently, these clips are the least of my worries on my project. LOL

Picture needed: 1970 Satellite hood mounted signal wire routings

Interesting. IIRC, my Satellite was built in November of 1969 at the St. Louis plant. Here’s a pic of one of the clips that I took off my hood.

Picture needed: 1970 Satellite hood mounted signal wire routings

Hey, I'm currently disassembling my '70 Satellite for bodywork / painting. I just removed the hood mounted turn signals. The wires have been missing for decades. However, I did notice little clips last night that were still in the hood. I assume they were for the hood mounted turn signal...

Cheap homemade torsion bar removal tool

I made a cheap tool to help me remove my small block torsion bars. I got the 3/4” wire rope clamps at Tractor Supply and a piece of scrap angle iron from my scrap pile. I had to die grind the inside of the saddle and angle grind the inside of the u-bolts to get them to go over the torsion bar...
