The socket is available for about 60.00. I took mine to a machine shop and paid 20.00 to have them taken out after I tried the chisel, pipe wrench, and heat methods. The machine shop guys said they had a very hard time with it also.
SS Springs Update
First, I want to thank you guys for the response (including photos!!) for my question. I am sure it is the longer Drag Racing shocks (P4529515) as they are allowing the rear to drop more. The drag racing shocks are 25" fully extended and the Mopar high performance shocks...
The springs are #P3690455 and 0454 left and right. Spring extender(s) P4120105, rear shocks MOPP4529515, and the shackles are stock length P5249716. All are Mopar Performance parts. I/m thinking the longer shocks are what's going on. I'll have to remember that if the car gets towed or I go...
I put a set of the mopar super stock springs (3800 lb) on my 67 Belvedere along with the mopar shocks, extended front spring hangers and mopar rear shackles. When I lift the rear of the car, taking the weight off the rear suspension, the rear shackles rotate forward with the lower spring eye...
disc conversion
Master Power Brakes www.mpbrakes.com has a front disc kit which show 73-89 chrysler rotors and 76-79 Aspen/Volare calipers. More info on their site.
Master Cyl

I've installed the Master Power Brakes manual front disc conversion on my 67 Bel II and the master cylinder has the 4 bolt flange that replaces the 2 bolt flange on the original. Is there a adapter plate for this or do I need to fabricate one? Thanks in advance.. Joe R.
I converted my 67 Belvedere to front discs using the Master Power Brake kit. My question is; do I need to coil the lines before they attach to the proportioning valve? Am I correct in assuming the coiled lines prevent cracking due to vibration? I see a lot of rods without coiled lines, but...
I'm in need of a transmission crossmember for my 67 Belvedere 451, 727. Anyone know what years B body crossmembers will work? I've been told 66-70, but would like a few more opinions, or someone who's "been there". Thanks in advance'

WA
Just wanted to say hello from Southwest Washington. I have a 67 Belvedere II that I hope to complete this year. I'll probably be bugging forum members with questions. Great website! Joe
