The tires I have aren’t very sticky so I’m hoping it won’t stress them too much. If I go to the track I will run slicks on some stronger rims.
Thanks for the replies.
I bought new Keystone Klassic rims for my road Runner. After looking them over the center section is aluminum and the rim itself is steel. They are welded together. I always thought you could not weld steel and aluminum to each other. Anybody have any insight into this? I’m worried that joint...
I am getting ready to install all the seat belts into my 70 RR. They are black but a few of them are faded to where they are almost a blue color so I’m considering dying them black again.
I’ve never tried this. I’m worried about the dye discoloring riders cloths.
Any sage wisdom from someone...
I didn’t know the measurement so I didn’t respond but on my 70 I dissembled the column, pushed out the sheared off plastic pins, lined up the holes, installed a steel roll pin in one of the holes and then reassembled.

Thanks for all the replies. I will email him this week. Email isn’t all bad, definitely less room for error if it’s written down. I relocated my springs under the frame rails. I need a complete setup. Can’t use any of my old stuff.
I will update as I work through the process.
That’s too bad. I was hoping to talk to him on the phone but I guess it’s not a deal breaker if I’m forced to use email.
I need to figure out bearing and brake options.

I’m getting close to ordering a new Dana 60 for my 70 RR. I see a lot of positive comments about Dr. Diff.
What advantage if any is there from ordering from them vs. just ordering an S60 directly from Strange?
All opinions appreciated.
Thanks,
Dennis.
I’m currently leaning towards getting the springs mounted then taking it to an upholstery shop and let them install the covers. I’m getting pretty sick of these seats. Lol
Thanks for the reply.
I’ve done more research and decided my frames will work. I just need to mount the 70 springs on them and then the legendary foam and upholstery I’ve already purchased should work correctly. I’m just going to make some little clips to mount the 70 springs onto my frames and...
I am trying to get back to factory buckets in my 1970 roadrunner. I bought what I thought looked like the right frames because they had the correct latch and back plastic covers but evidently not.
I bought new legendary upholstery for a 70 charger with factory buckets because I like the look of...
