Yeah my rear tires are 285/40-18s, and are 27” tall. I wish there was an 18” tire that was 28” tall or so, while maintaining the width. I tried a 285/50-18 but they were 29.2” tall and looked like they came off of an SUV.
I currently have American Racing Torq Thrust IIs on my 69. The fronts are 17x7 and the rears are 18x8. I’m not a huge fan of “big” wheels and small sidewalls on 60s-70s cars. I also have a set of American Racing Outlaw 1 wheels, 15x7 front, and 15x8.5 rear. The 17/18s kinda grew on me a little...
Factory Chrysler 904 driveshaft yoke for 7260 u-joints. Excellent condition. No pitting, and no seal groove on machined surface. No aftermarket crapola. Looking to get $80 shipped to lower 48.

I didn’t take “step by step” photos of my last dash swap. There really isn’t much to it. Strip the dash frame, break the bolts loose from underneath with vice grips and back them out enough to get a wrench on the bolt head from above. Comes right out.
I just pulled the dash out of my 69 a few months ago without pulling the windshield. I’ve done many like that over the years. Never pulled the glass on any of them

He will after a while. Like I said, take a 70 GL to a Mopar show and see what happens. After the kids and toothless hicks get done drooling over it, then what? Even at non-Mopar events, you’d be surprised at the people that notice there is something “off” about the car. Doesn’t matter to me...
I have a box full of factory Chrysler 68-70 B-body fuel sending units. None of them function as the contacts are worn from the wipers. I’m tired of aftermarket junk and am looking to have one of my originals rebuilt for my 69. Any companies that can be recommended?
