Good day, team,
Following up on previous communications, I've recently acquired a 1967 Coronet equipped with a modified 440 engine, reportedly generating approximately 542 horsepower.
The vehicle features aluminum Edelbrock cylinder heads and an MSD ignition system. During a routine spark plug...
Quick question for yall.
I just recently acquired my first Classic. (1967 Coronet with a built 440)
I've been going through it and changing fluids and seals. The Thermostat is a 195. To me that seems high. I do live in the north aka Canada where temps reach 35 Celsius and the car runs around...
If anyone has the ability to get a build sheet for a 1967 Coronet that would be amazing. My first Classic car. I've looked under seats front and backs. Haven't pulled up carpets maybe previous owner has. Haven't looked by glovebox yet. Vin attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Good morning! I am curious if it would be feasible to find a build sheet for the Coronet I recently purchased? Are there any websites or resources that might be helpful?
Thanks and happy 4th of July!
Greatly appreciated! When I get some time I will add some timing to it to see if I can get enough. Haha I've been thinking of just going to manual brakes now. But would still like to mess around a bit. That's how you learn.
Again thank you for the reply and any info is awesome.
***UPDATE***
So I checked manifold vacuum its at 9" hahaha. There is a reserve vacuum tank but I dont think 9" would bring down the reserve tank enough. Also checked the booster and its not holding vacuum for very long. Soooo. Ill order a vacuum pump to wire in and probably a booster.
Does...
Not a vacuum pump. But it is pulling vacuum at the pump via hose. I am just getting a pump to test the booster to see if it holds vacuum. Will report back when I get to the bottom of this.
I do suspect the booster is single diaphragm so that will probably be what I try to find. Looks like in a previous post above that someone provided a link to a dual diaphragm with some minor modifications to firewall. Thank you for your input!
