hood scoop
Been quiet for a while. Just getting ready again for this years MOPAR show in Tulsa. Got my new hood scoop.

working on the hood opening for the scoop and a base plate
finally
O.K. I think I got everything bolted back on. Going on a test drive this weekend. Looks bad but maybe it will run good enough to forget about the looks.
Well I did not make the Mopar show. Cracked the front windshield and cant find one good enough to put in the car. There are new ones out there but they have that big wide tint across the top of the glass. Anybody had any luck buffing glass. I have found one that is for a 2 door post but it needs...
interior
Finally got some stuff painted. Been working on the headliner and had to take a break. Starting to just bolt stuff on without restoring it because the local Mopar show is one month away. Trying to get this thing going under its own power.
quarter glass
Sorry you are having troubles. This is what all the ones I have taken apart look like. The triangle piece is attached to the glass with the plastic rivet. Then the glass and bracket slide onto the blue roller. Sometimes cranking the window up or down will let you slide the...
Remove the back seat and armrest pad so that you can get the door (card) panel off. Also remove the inside metal plate that is just above the door panel. You will see a metal plate in the bottom center of the glass. It has a plastic button holding the metal plate and glass together. Push the...
dash
Just finished my dash. Blasted it and repaired it where someone cut it for a aftermarket radio. My paint suppler was able to come up with the factory color for a red interior and some flat clear to give it the factory dull finish. Painted the pillar trim and headliner trim at the same time...
I have a 66 Satellite with power steering and it was way over assisted. I just put a Stage II power steering box from Firm Feel and it drives great now. You might look at the price either way and see if that might work for you. To go manual you will need a box and a steering column shaft or an...
Hey cr8crhsr, I already had the 8 3/4. It was in my Satellite when I had the Hemi in it. Never had any problems but is was an automatic car. I plan on being a lot rougher on this one so a Dana 60 is probably in the near future. We'll see.
Thanks to everyone for the compliments.
fuel pump bracket
I am going to run a different tank then stock and also a big fuel pump. This is what I came up with for the best place to mount an electric fuel pump. Just a piece of scrap 14 gauge metal.
floor pan repair
After cleaning off the undercoating to weld in the floor pans I just could not get the new undercoating to blend right. So I went back and sprayed it on a little thicker and dabbed it with 36 grit sandpaper. Looks a lot better.
rearend
Got all the rearend stuff cleaned and painted this weekend. Ready to go back under the car after I get the bottom of the floor pan painted. In case some of you are wondering about the disc brake setup. The caliper bracket, rotor and rotor hat are from Speedway motors (inexpensive) and...
66four40,
those pics with the cheater slicks are the correct caps for a 1966 Plymouth cheap car. You can also use 65 caps but the were painted silver instead of black. They are for 14 inch car wheels or will fit early 15 inch truck wheels. A trick I learned from a buddy of mine is to use cop...
The engine is a 2006 recast Mopar block. std. bore JE 10.5 - 1 pistons. Stage V cyl. heads & intake. 440source crank (stock 440 stroke ) and rods stk hemi length. comp mech cam .563/.543 [email protected]. Stage V rockerarms. 2 750 Holleys. It was a tire frier in my 66 Satellite 4082 lbs w/driver 3.23...
I am still going to get it running as soon as possible but I need to finish up some areas I was already in to deep on. Quarter panel and trunk pan had already been removed and really needs to be there for support. Now I need to finish the dash so I can put the windshield back in. Motor and...
