Hey Everyone I'm looking to do a fairly long road trip in the spring and think it will be easier to do towing a very small trailer with my 70 Road Runner. I plan on hauling the smallest U-Haul type closed trailer with some tools and some other gear, not towing a boat or anything crazy. I figured...
I've been wanting to replace my old stamped steel valve covers for a while. Finally ordered the desired set about 10 days ago from Jegs. I get an mail a few days back that they are apparently on back order and ETA for shipping was supposed to happen this week. I get another email on Tuesday with...
Guys, what is the proper way to attach the back part of the front bench seat to this middle "hinge" part? My RR had just a normal bolt and nut combo on there which was never really secure and eventually came apart.
Is there a better way to re-attach this because trying to use a normal nut/bolt...
Anyone seen these, more importantly is anyone using these? Thoughts?

OK I cannot get my 440 to not ping when I get on the gas. Here's the story, hopefully I'm just doing something wrong. Sorry I don't have all the info, but this is everything I can provide.
What I know: 440 Engine, 915 heads with stock rocker setup, Manifolds and 2.5 Exhaust with Flowmasters, 4...
I'm selling my Holley Model 3310 750 vacuum secondary carb.
Here's a video I took of it running the other day morning: at there are pics attached as well.
It could use a quick going over and probably some new bowl and metering block gaskets and Needle &Seats, but otherwise it does run...
I'm looking to replace my old tired ugly worn out carb on the 440. It's a 30 year old Holley 750 Vac Sec carb that I've used to just get it running for the past year or so. I'm just tired of it, it's always leaking here or there and frankly it's time.
I'm looking at replacing the old 750 Vac...
I have a brand new Flex-A-Lite 2" Fan Spacer and a Noisy Gear Dive Setup for a 440.
The Fan Spacer was never used. It was attempted to be bolted up but put fan too close to the radiator, so had to go down to a 1". Comes with the bolts & washers too. $20 plus shipping.
The Gear Drive was on my...
Anyone near South Jersey area? Gambardella's Speed Shop is downsizing and is liquidating a bunch of parts and cars. Check it out:

Kind of odd one, at least for me. When I turn on all the lights with the switch in the dash in my 70 RR, all the lights come on except the headlights. The other odd thing is that the high beam indicator stays on all the time as well. I checked the fuses in the glove box, all LOOK ok to me, and...
Just saw the movie poster for this undoubtedly amazing Oscar-Worthy flick called "Daylight's End". Featured in the movie is a 1970 B Body, looks to be a Roadrunner or GTX.
Cool nonetheless.
Here's the quick story:
Swapped out the gear drive for a timing chain on my 440, and I'm putting things back together. During disassembly, I found that the balancer had a huge crack in it and a chunk of it looked like it was about to fly off. Second, the crank pulley was really banged up which...
I'm replacing the gear drive in my 440 with a Cloyes 3045 double roller timing chain. I'm sick of the whining, and that's just from me. Hehe. It's a 3 bolt style setup obviously. The cam itself is a flat tappet style and relatively stock.
My question is do I really need a thrust button? There...
I've recently had my 23 spline 833 rebuild by Passon. I live about 75 miles from the shop, so it made more sense to take it directly there versus sending it out to another shop like Brewer's. I tried the local route here near Philly, and I really got nowhere. I actually dropped it off on Easter...
OK so the 23 spline 4 speed in my 70 RR was TOAST. Basically it leaked all the fluid out the front cover and totally destroyed the trans internally and the clutch as well. I had my cousin who's rebuilt many transmissions in the past, look at it first and he said it would probably cost more to...
Is this price legit? Sorry if this is someone on here trying to sell the part, but I was shocked at the price. Just curious what's everyone's opinion on it. I saw this and was thanking God and Satan that I already have one on my car, because at this price I'd never buy one...
So I've had my 70 RR for a few years. Over the past year or so I've noticed the trans is acting up. It started to pop out of 3rd gear when decelerating. Then it started to do it in 2nd gear. I get under and look at it and notice it's only being held into the bellhousing by the top 2 bolts...
For those of us that grew up in the 80's watching WWF wrestling, you'll remember this guy.

Power steering started to leak. It basically drained the entire reservoir overnight. It looks like it's leaking from the high pressure line where it connects to the actual steering box, not the reservoir. I pull it off and see this fitting. It's totally hammered. I'll replace the line as well...
Selling my 750 Edelbrock. Just took it off so it doesn't need anything. Comes with the 1489 Calibration kit too. $150.
