I'm running 8" WheelVintiques with 3.25" back spacing. Superstock springs in the stock location. I have about 5/8" on both sides of the tire now.

Hey Guys, my 65 Coronet won "Host Club Pick". Over 7000 cars were in the show and they chose about 40 cars for different categories. I was completely shocked to win anything at such a huge show. Below are some photos and a video.

Just remember that your sidewall works in proportion with the overall tire measurements and will change with different sizes of tires and rims.
So please use my set-up as an example and not the bible. My sidewall has extra bulge to it because the height of the sidewall the the rim size which...
Here are the scaled computer renderings I drew to figure out what size rim I needed. In the drawing you can see the axle, leaf springs, and inside of the fender.
I actually fit the tire to the rim and measured in the first 2 drawings. Once I had those measurements I was able to figure out the...
My old rims and tires are in storage. Next time I stop by I can measure the rims and check the size of the radial tires. I didn't pay much attention since I knew I was gonna chang'em.
Here's a pic of the 10" Cragars and radials.
Not true. I had a 10" Cragar on mine and they fit with about 1/2" on each side of the sidewall.

Last year I purchased a 65 Coronet with a 440/6pk and a hemi 4spd. I'm trying to decide how I should go forward from here. I've been contemplating a head or cam change. I'm not looking for a full-time track car, but I might venture out for some runs during the summer months. I want it to sound...
Good day at the track. Event also sported a Hemi Shootout.
Looks like the Westcott boys are gonna clean up.

I'm getting ready to redo the plug wires. I purchased a set of MSD 8.5 customs with 90º boots. I also picked up 2 extra 180º boots that I planned on using with the #5 and #6 cylinders. I was wondering if anyone had pics on how they ran the wires around headers and what boots (90º or 180º) were...
Just got back from Napa. I bought a new Starter relay and ignition switch. I tested the fusable link and it works fine. First I'm going to install the new relay and then go from there.
If I replace the relay and it still doesn't fire up is there a way to test either the ignition or neutral...
I didn't want to hear this. It's just strange that one night it's fine and the next morning it's not. Is there a way to get it started in the meantime so I could drive it to a shop?
Thanks Ron. I'll start there.
Here are some other pics.
These are the 3 wires going to the starter. I'm currently putting a new end on the negative wire.
The main lead has a hole in the insulation.
Installed a RobbMC started last Friday and everything was going great. Went to start the car this morning and the starter wouldn't turn over. All other power was good (interior lights, radio, dash lights). No clicking of the starter or anything. I then connected a remote starter switch and the...
Got the headers, Flowmaster Super 40's, and H-Pipe exhaust and RobbMC starter. Took about 8 hours.
Sounds great. A lot quieter on the freeway then I thought it would be.
