    hemi swap/transmission question

I'd be curious about that as well, since I won't be running wheelspeed sensors either. I want to say there are vendors who offer re-flash services that will "turn off" wheelspeed requirements, but I haven't done too much research yet. After three years, I finally have the wrecked 5.7 donor car...

Part's List for Gen III swap

Well, I have no problem doing a pan change. But the damn thing runs pretty good with the 360 right now...would the "new" LX floor tunnel also clear the current 727? I'm thinking do the bodywork, paint, interior...make a "presentable" work in progress, then if I finally get the urge, swap in the...

72 Satellite wagon parts - whatcha got?

Well, the time has come for me to finally resurrect my '72 Satellite Custom wagon. Current configuration: 360/727/8.75". Factory power disc brakes. A/C delete. Power steering. Originally column shift, currently has Hurst floor shift (may go back to column shift but I haven't decided yet)...

    72 wagon fuel tank?

I know. "Long shot" doesn't begin to describe it...but my car currently has an antifreeze jug underhood, filled with a gallon of fuel, with a hose to the fuel pump, so I can get it on and off the trailer and in and out of the garage. Ghetto...but it beats pushing that heavy beast. The tank is...

    Wheel Controversy

Those 'cuda pictures have me thinking. I like the idea of 17's on my Satellite...but the 15's definitely look 'right' on it. I'm debating wheels for my 72 Satellite wagon. I used to run 14" Keystone Klassics on it back in the day; 6" up front, 8" in back. My current idea is for a set of 17x7"...

72 Satellite wagon New Hemi swap?

...thanks all. And...I just saw the "new hemi swap" section that I completely missed last night. hehe,whoops...

    Which scan tool to buy?

That is very weird. Did you look at your odometer display? My '01 Ram displays "ECM - P0xxx" and scrolls through the codes, then "PCM - P0xxx" and scrolls through those. You should be able to get one or the other out of the onboard diagnostics...

Part's List for Gen III swap

So reading this (and considering a 5.7/autostick swap into my 72 Satellite wagon)...I'm going to need to cut the floors to clear the autostick? Hm. Good thing I have an entire Magnum R/T (t-boned, passenger side) as a donor...

    71 383 wagon

NICE. I'm getting ready to pull my '72 Satellite Custom wagon out of storage, so I can start working on the New Hemi swap (have a totalled '05 Magnum R/T donor car). I've had mine for about 20 years; originally a 318/904/factory 8.75 3.23 SG, currently a 360/727 with the same rear. Ran low 13's...

    Which scan tool to buy?

I have an old SnapOn MT2500 for my turbocars (it reads up to '96), and I love it. It gives live sensor data, datalogs, and pulls/clears codes. I guess I could use it on my '92 Jeeps...but those damn 4.0's never seem to break! I need to get updated cards for it though, so I can use it on my '01...

72 Satellite wagon New Hemi swap?

That's the plan, anyway. Got my '05 Magnum R/T that was totalled by a bimbo who ran a stop sign (T-boned it), at 36k miles. Got my '72 Satellite Custom wagon, originally 318/904/8.75 and currently 360/727/8.75. Up for total resto. No holes, but shows the signs of my 20 years of hard use, plus...

    Lift recommendations?

Just bought a new house, has a 26x27' work bay, 9'9" ceiling (low...but I've found lots of lifts that will work even if I can't pick 'em up too high yet). Heaviest I'll be picking up is my '01 Ram 2500 diesel QCLB. Also have a '72 B body wagon and some 80s turbocars, but they'll be easy...

    Just getting back into it...

Hi everyone. Longtime Mopar guy here, switched over to Buell motorcycles for years, now I (finally!) have a garage big enough for EVERYTHING to fit in, so I'm getting the "bug" to work on the 4 wheel toys again. Been collecting for years. 86 Shelby GLHS (for sale, no title, otherwise a...
