Hey Fellow Mopar Nuts:
I'm looking for suggestions on how to lift my 73 RR up a few inches--maybe 2-4in. The front cowling is ~11in. off the ground and the rear cowling is ~15in. off the ground. I still have the original body-frame spacers. Would new spacers help? How about adjusting the...
Hey RT:
This is a bit late (just logged on after a long absence). But I replaced the 318 in my 74 RR about 18 months ago. I found it on line at Auto Parts Warehouse--it was a Marshall Engines rebuilt long block. A mechanic friend helped me do it on my driveway. Runs like a champ!
Good...
Just now viewing this--been away for a while (skiing and stuff like that). But congrat's on the settlement, Nelsontoddpa! I have good memories of my 66 Coronet I got new as a kid shortly after finishing college. You might find a rust-free Coronet out here in So. Calif. Good luck and keep on...
I saw the Counting Cars episode re. the supposed 73 Satellite. But I have never seen a Satellite with a hood bump like that. My money says it was a Road Runner (like my 73 RR), & the so-called expert was wrong!

This is another posting I tried in the body, etc section. Trying to see if anyone has an idea in the 71-74 section.
I'm looking for hard-to-find rear bumper trim for my 73 RR. I've seen some on Ebay, but they're not the right ones. I need the center piece, which is rubber over a metal clip...
Shocks
I have Bilstein's on my Minnie Winnie. It's no light-weight and they really helped the leaning in the wind on I-40 last winter. They ain't easy to get on, though--tuff to compress enough, lying on my back under that chassis. I wound up paying my suspension guy to put them on.
Doesn't sound like much fun. If I can find the pieces, I have a friend at the local Chrysler dealer body shop that will put them on for me. Just need to find the damn things!
Ralph Cali: I sent you a PM re. the guy that can provide the pieces, but didn't hear back. So maybe it didn't get...
I'm looking for hard-to-find rear bumper trim for my 73 RR. I've seen some on Ebay, but they're not the right ones. I need the center piece, which is rubber over a metal clip that fits over the top edge of the middle of the bumper. Also need the end caps that also have rubber pieces over...
Hey Dennis:
Would love to join you there and help you "integrate" the car situation. But it would be a stretch to get my 73 RR there fm So. Cal--plus pretty busy with things that old retired guys do--ha!
Good luck & kick some A on those GM's & FoMoCo's!

Welcome fm So Cal, James. Great buy, even if it needs some work! I had a 66 Coronet 383 (when it was new--so guess that makes me old--ha!)
What part of Calif?
Hey Budnicks:
Sorry to hear about your friend, Mark. It's really sad when they're so young & leave a family behind too.
God Bless you and Mark's family.

I'll add my welcome, Perkul8r. Good luck with restoring the car. What a neat find--your original Mopar!
Looks like a future owner in the first pic on his trike--ha!
Welcome Mark from a real ol' timer Mopar nut:
How about my family's 46 Plymouth, then 53, 57 (love those fins!), 64 Ply wagon. Then my 66 Coronet 383, 4BBL, 4 on the floor and after several in between, my current 73 Road Runner (plain Jane 318, 2BBL).
Good luck finding something.

Bear-R:
I don't know what the K stands for. But post your question in Exterior, Paint & Bodywork. Someone will probably answer from that post.
Nice interior--it's gotta be new. Good view of the Arizona highlands in the background!
Take care, Luther
