    Mystery Part???

Got some more pics. Looks like an OE style valve body. Lower plate #2801295. 68 inside of a cast circle. Assuming that means 1968. Also a line that goes from the bottom of the block, towards the front, through the bellhousing, and behind the torque converter. Only thing I can think of is a dump...

    Mystery Part???

Many many thanks to all the responses and information. Based on what's been posted and what I've read I believe the valve body has to have been converted back to an original style. Mystery Part???

Drives normally without manually shifting. Just like any other car in Drive. Not connected to cooler lines.

There is a block mounted externally on the passenger side with a 2 wire solenoid on top. Haven't traced the lines yet but they definitely go to the trans ports (just can't...

    68 Coronet. Slant 6 K-member, 440 engine. Mount options?

This question has surely been asked but I can't find a concrete answer. I've got a 68 Coronet 440 that was originally a slant 6. PO put in a 440 and used motor plates to mount. They work very well but I'd like to eliminate them and install some kind of conversion engine mount. Any help is much...
