Contact Calipers Online, Calipers Online. He rebuilt my Bendix 4 piston original calipers for my 67 Charger Hemi. After I installed, I had an issue with one of my pistons and I returned to him for repair under warranty. He repaired and shipped back to me no charge. I also have a set of the...
Thanks for both items, which I assume you have bought and used on your car. Is the proportioning valve somewhat universal ? The link you attached was for a GM model car? Is that what you used?
I just came across your "brake story" and I am glad I did. I have been struggling with my brakes bleeding correctly on my 67 Charger with Bendix Disc up front and drums on the rear. I'm going to check this out and see if I get better results.
I have been fighting my brakes for 6 months , trying to bleed the rear drums first then the front discs and didn't know about this "tool"? Interesting stuff.
Hey Big Bad Dad, I did order two of the Hose Line Fittings you mentioned and they didn't work. They did not seat enough to tighted up. I am still without front brakes, frustrating. I tries yesterday to re-install my jumoer lines but have no luck. I wish there was someone that knows the bendix...
That's interestin, I have bought several parts from Richard EHRenberg for my restoration. The most expensive and rare part I bought was an original starter from him for my 67 Hemi, which is a one year only solenoid on the BOTTOM setup. I paid $1500 after looking for a year and trying 3 different...
Good morning Big Bad Dad, Iread your post a few weeks ago and was waiting to see if the new brake tube jumper lines from Dr Diff would work before buying the fitting you suggested. Wel the lines did not work, they leak, so I just ordered the fitting you suggested. I'll let you know how it fts...
That's an interesting fitting but I will try Dr Diff's brake lines first and see if that works. Thanks for the information, I will save in my files if needed. Have you used this type of fitting?
Yes I agree, I thought it might be the caliper seat BUT I have a second set of new calipers that I installed and it still leaked. I have taken a photo of the seat and attached. I even tried another Forum member recommendation to install a Parker 2GF-3 washer, see attached photo, and it still...
I installed the same line on two different calipers. I had bought a second set of calipers for future needs. When the first caliper leaked at the top, I installed the second caliper and the nut threaded all the way in. I wrote to Cass (Dr Diff) and he questioned the same observation. He sent me...
My Charger has the 4 piston Bendix calipers and they are different than yours. I have a back-up set of calipers and yesterday I removed the driver side caliper and replaced with the newly refurbished caliper. The top of the caliper brake line still leaked with my new brake line that came with my...
I hear your frustration with the front disc brakes. On my 67 Charger, I did buy the master cylinder and booster fron Dr Diff. At the time ( 2 yrs ago) he was very helpful by phone and email. I had my original Bendix 4 piston calipers rebuilt by Calipers Online, very easy to talk with and great...
I had mine reconditioned at Calipers Online. Did a nice job. Calipers Online
I had the same type of pitting on mine. I had bought the kit, installed but the pistons fit too tight. So I bit the bullet and sent to Calipers Online. Call Mark @ 810-278-3141. Good luck.
