    I run mine through a relay, then to a toggle switch. And the main power wire is ran to a 12v key on power source at the fuse box.

    On your gauge lights, get a distribution block and wire each gauge light to each terminal on the distribution block. Then run 1 wire to the fuse box for lights.

    In some cases it's easier to use different plug boots to make them snap on. Try 90 degree boots or straight on some.

    I run a old ac delco 1 wire alternator that's rated about 45 amps. Powers my fuel pump, electric fans. And my battery is in the trunk with a battery disconnect switch.

    Anything over 15 volts is too much. Mine sits at 13.7 idling. Driving it should be 14.2-14.5 volts

    I put my battery in the trunk. I have 2 ground straps that are 8 gauge that goes from the back of the block to firewall. Then a 1 gauge cable from the front of the head to frame. Might be overkill. But it's better to be well grounded.

    On my 67 coronet I've been trying to get the bolt for the brake light switch bracket tight. I've tried a 7/16 wobbly and I can't get a good grip on it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
