    Well, after pulling the cluster out again, I replaced the new voltage limiter with the 50 year old one I saved. The old Bird loved the old one much better. No issues with the "moving" gauges. Just goes to show you older can be better.

    I ran a wire connector directly from the voltage limiter ground to chassis ground to be safe when I initially installed it. I'll try putting the original limiter in.

    Checked coil wire and it did show spark. Do you have a recommendation for the next steps? I'll check the cap. I do not have spark at the plugs.

    Thanks, I know I have fuel. I'll try the coil wire tomorrow. Can I crank this with the ignition key in "run" position and use my remote starter cable switch or do I need to physically turn the key to start position?
