I agree, good air circulation, drainage and no metal unpainted. If you want sound deadner put it between plastic and door panel. If you hear rattles your exhaust is too quite!
I'm not trying to knock what you started, it's cool but one thing over looked that I must add. It's more than a vapor barrier, it has to be tucked into the bottom of door (that long slot) for its main purpose, to keep the rain water (funnels water back to the bottom of door to the weep holes)...
On my Duster I ordered the interior paint off the fender code, single stage. Sanded and primed then shot, came out great. Mine was a blue poly metalic so I continually shake the gun to keep it mixed up (put a big nut in the can)
Just found them last nite, 2wires off trans (that was stolen also) to a 3 prong connector on inner fender, one prong is for oil sender. I’m hope a 66 like this is at Carlisle.
I don’t have a clue either, my first time with a 66. While I’m asking, maybe you can tell me where do the backup wires come from off the firewall? I have no wire-wires at all
Really hate to hyjack this post but I’m looking for a view of the Belvedere II horn button (the center, no ring). Need to know what to look for.
Thanks, Mike
