Exactly the same issue with the melted terminal in my car KD. Except my cowboys just crimp joined where the fuse once was. All sorted now though. Good luck with your search. As usual, it's an interesting read.
Thanks for posting this Wayne. It's yet another one of those hard to find gremlins that we can add to the list when trouble shooting. Much appreciated.
Check the grounding. Check the connection at the light socket and trace it back to the fuse panel and make sure its connected properly. Use a multi meter to verify continuity.
I am in the process of ordering a new engine wiring harness for my 70 Coronet. I know most people place the orange box on the fire wall or on the inner fender where mine is (pictured), as its close to the distributor. But, to preserve the original look as if it was a points car, has anybody...
I wonder if anybody has some detailed pictures of the connection from the negative battery post, to the block? Also carb linkages and throttle spring details. Carb is a 4 barrel Carter and I have an RV2 compressor mounted for air con. I realize this has probably been asked before, but my search...

A body Radio
B Body Radio

I would say there is not too much wrong with your two speed wiper motor. I rebuilt mine and it was quite easy. Your brushes may be getting low, but more likely maybe just the insulation needs renewing. You can unsolder the wires and slide new glass cloth sleeve over it and you should be good to...
That is the right idea Kern. The recommended method for any automotive (and many others applications) is to use a small amount to keep out moisture, salts etc. The terminals scrape together removing the grease on the mating surfaces. That way you have metal to metal contact whilst surrounding...
