Ok...I found a carb height chart. Can someone that owns an avs please give me a measurement of the height from the base to where the air filter assembly seats? That would answer my question
Thank you for the info on the spacer. I thought they may have had a thin one. I understand an AVS is stock but are all carbs the same height? I'm not doing a 100% accurate restoration but need to get the height correct so the hood will close and be functional. Thank you

I need some help.... can anyone tell me what carbs will work on a 70 n96 440 roadrunner? Stock manifold is being used and I have the 440 base plate. I need something the same height and diameter as the avs 4739. Manual transmission. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i have a 70 n96 roadrunner that we are building a 440 for over the winter. My question is what manifold will work with the airgrabber? I am purchasing a 440 base (aftermarket) but want to make sure the manifold will be stock height. It's a 4 speed street car, I'm not racing it! Any help...
