    Cannabis and your heart

Help my racing progr!m by supporting our small business: www.dgrhemp.com The recreational vs. medicinal argument is a fine line. Some people need physical relief vs. mental. Being judgemental is pointless because you are just throwing stones from a glass house. In ten years all of this...

    Craziest Accident I ever saw...

Yes - a bar. My error So....is the Factory Appearing Stock Class full of idiots for trying to to race on reproduction bias plys? For a looong time that class defied tech rules until....people complained. I wonder have many accidents have occurred in that class? Being to far away I do not...

    Craziest Accident I ever saw...

I think it can go both ways. I know guys that insist a 12.50 car has a cage. An 8.50 cert does not realy require a lot of extra bars aside from the halo. It's all relative to your level of comfort. My 8.50 cert cars are probably mid pack on bars. One has forward bars and one does not etc...

    Craziest Accident I ever saw...

I would be happy to explain how things work at a race track if you want to give me a call. I know it is hard to see that viewpoint from behind the keyboard. : D lighten up

    Craziest Accident I ever saw...

I enjoy no prep. I also see a lot of streeters with big strokers and no roll bar that get into the secondaries on the street. As soon as a guy has a bad day at the track everyone comes off the bench. Signed, Guy that actually races a car : D

    Craziest Accident I ever saw...

What happened was a result of operators with too little experience operating high hp vehicles - in both lanes. For the rest of you....don't be a safety karen. The most unsafe element(s) in this situation was the driver (s). The 55 rolled because the driver white knuckled it and abruptly let...

    Issues with Firm Feel

They are good people and I have done several cars using their parts over the years. After my last two (pleasant) dealings with them I walked away with the impression that the success of the business cause them to outgrow both their operational and management structures. Frank, Dick and Matt...

Where do we stand with Moparts?

It's not the frequency but amplitude of the losses amigo. We are not logistically able to support doing business without some recourse in the case of a loss. That said, if anyone out of the US wants to buy my Indy -1 heads and intake with NOS fogger kit hit me up and we will make a deal...

Where do we stand with Moparts?

Again we are Looking Through the Looking-Glass and getting tunnel vision. It is obviously much easier to seek recourse for these types of incidents when they happen within the country in which your business operates. Once you begin to deal with these types of transactions that go bad over...

Where do we stand with Moparts?

I can also tell you that if a person wants to pay cash anywhere in the world it is not a problem. Most buyers insist on paying with a credit card to protect themselves and this is where it gets tricky. It reminds me of one of those standoffs on an old show like Gunsmoke or The Rifleman

Where do we stand with Moparts?

Between you and me that is easy. After bantering back and forth on the internet for 20 years I feel I can trust you LOL. Not everyone falls into that category and I believe you would agree on that point. For a business a loss like that would be a tax write-off however for the average Joe selling...

Where do we stand with Moparts?

From a business owners perspective doing overseas transactions is very risky. Between the shipping problems and credit card chargebacks we insist that new customers pay in cash while they are vetted. After losing 10K you would understand. Those of you that are implying that this is driven by...

'66 Charger Hemi 4 sp on BaT

I always figured it was the 550+ hp and the four speed. Cool that you both have had your cars for that long!

'66 Charger Hemi 4 sp on BaT

Between the road noise from the rear wheel wells being open to the cockpit, eternally malfunctioning gauge cluster and bouncing headlight buckets....... They make great race cars.: D That is coming from a guy that has driven these things daily through four seasons.

    Sell me on CalTracs

You don't even need cal trac bars to run 12's. I would invest in some good aluminum body shocks from QA1 etc. first. Stock springs, 4-speed, dumping the clutch at 5k with the nitrous on:

Stories about selling or 'offers' for your old rides?

I hear some interesting propositions when driving my beater 68 GTS, most which are rather humorous. After the obligatory "is it for sale?" i have "I would take 45k in cash" as a prescribed response like it's on a holster lol. Of course that statement brings the dumbest resposes including: "Is...

69 Belvedere Hemi looking for history

Have you ever noticed that those hoses are in the 1968 parts catalog? I always turned my nose up at them too lol. They were available as factory replacements which I did not realize until recently.
