We only had a couple weeks to get this thing out, rebuilt, back in, and broken in before hitting the dragstrip in Silkeston MO for the No Name Nationals...There's a few great tech tips along the way!!
Enjoy!
Did you mean for the Z28 install?
If so, no need as it bolt directly to the stock bell housing, will re-use my original flywheel and pressure plate (only need to purchase a disc as my clutch is new), comes with the shifter installed (will reuse my Hurst comp plus handle), and the hydraulic...
It's not that bad if you already have the 4 speed set up. My Quote from SilverSport for the Bee was $5100 with me getting my own clutch.
I went with the kit for the '74 Z/28 (as we drive it alot more) with a hydraulic clutch and everything for a touch under $3600 (still need to have...
My wife was a new mechanic a year ago when she put the plugs in, I assume she dropped it and didn't look at the end as it was shorted out. The car ran so much better than when we pulled it out of storage we didn't think it was down a cylinder. We don't drive it that much, but looking back it all...

Just a little update before we...

Update! sorry long....
To recap we got the car out of long term storage and it would barely pull itself around. After a complete diagnosis, compression check, tune up, electronic ignition install, new carb, and exhaust, as well as all new fuel tank and lines she still felt lazy, but ran much...
Summit Racing has them @ $152 per side (plus $10ea for oversized) but they list a RH and LH...What makes 'em different?
I installed the Hotchkis kit in my Camaro, both side were the same P/N. Just curious....
They are the stock ones, never touched as my wife is the second owner. I agree we need new ones...Unfortunately she will not budge on the bars (retro hippy chick)
