I bought from Classic and when installed you get very visible bumps from the install-clips.
I had to fix this by creating a small "Shovel" and dig out some foam under the clips.
In some restoration pics i see these bumps.

True, that looks like a explanation for those holes.
Are there any more differences between the Auto and manual console?
Im not sure but isnt the bracket at the back flat for the manual?

Bumping this with my Molotov pen ver.
Used Novus 3 to polish the plastic clear cover over the new gauges.
Cleaned up the housing and painted the inside white.

On my 68 I carefully drilled off the edges of the medallion pins that is clamped on the pad metal. Then used a small punch on the pins to knock the medallion out of the pad.

In my 68 Charger it is quite tricky to install the rear seat back rest, the last 5cm I have to really push it down with my bodyweight to make it go down and snap in place.
Problem is that it easily pops back up again.
