    Rust prevention

Why not? My cowl was rusted just in front of the cowl vents, so I cut that portion out. I have a patch panel made for it, but like you I need to treat the inside. I can get to it GOOD since I cut the old out. You could very simply do the same.

    Rust prevention

I'm using regular Rustoleum oil based paint. It's tough as hell. It's the DTM (direct to metal) paint. I got it at Lowes for 27 bucks a gallon. There are other more expensive products, but properly applied, Rustoleum works great.

    Rust removal by using molasses

They will still have to come apart if you want to paint every nook and cranny. So to me, I wouldda just took um apart and blasted um and painted um separately.......but I must admit, the molasses works purdy good.

    please help with situation

I would think you'd want the parts to be removed at the factory seams so that you could install them the same way. Shouldn't be TOO difficult to locate. the problem, like Like Propwash said, will be finding someone to remove them correctly. Good luck. I tell you a damn good place to start...

    Powder coating durability ??

I'm not 100% sure. That's why I said "it's been my understanding" because I'm not sure about it. I DO know powedercoating is tougher than paint so it's stands to reason it cannot stand flexing as much. I wish Leanna would chime in on this. She is the Mistress of Metal.

    Powder coating durability ??

The way I understand it is, powdercoat is much harder than paint, so that makes it brittle. You wouldn't want to powdercoat say, a frame for instance, since it will twist and tweak and possibly crack the powdercoat and cause it to get contamination under it. I may be wrong about that, but that's...

Donny, nobody has debated your ability. It's you who doubt everyone else's. There was a time when you knew not one damn thing about blasting. I certainly have learned a lot from your posts and I appreciate them very much, but there's no need to come off like you're the only one in the world who...

She's incorrect. It's called "Furious Fuchsia" and the paint code is HP. Also, it looks purdy danged close to me.

    Advice on Front Frame Rails

I don't know how he's gonna drill out the broken bolt if the nut has broken loose. All it's gonna do is spin. Blow it out with a torch or plasma cutter. Simple and effective. Then window the frame rail and come in and weld a new nut inside and close it back up. The repair you have in mind for...
