Thanks #41 !! I am very pleased with the look. The Rallye wheels just didnt cut it. Too vanilla.
I am glad that I did the 245/60's on all corners. At $50 per tire (still eith the nubs), it would have been silly not to.
I got a deal on 245/60-15 Cooper Cobra's. Looks like those will be good enough for now ! I did a test fit of the rims. No issues. We will see with the tires on them.
P.S. the actual measured backspace on the wheels is 4.0 inches, so only 0.5 from stock.
Well, I bought them. They are in almost new condition. $100 for the set of 4. I think $ 25 each is a good enough price to experiment. The idea is 275/60-15 in back and 235 or 245 up front. I do have 1 inch spacers for the front if needed. We will play with it when I am cleared by my Dr for...
These are the wheels. Summit doesn’t show 71 charger in the fitment chart…. Maybe a bad sign ?

What is the possibility of Cragar 15" rims from a jeep cherokee fitting on a 71 Charger ? Actually I believe they are 15x8. 3.75 back space and 3.25 bore, 5x4.5 bolt pattern
Back spacing is 4" and it is 5.5" from center to front (front spacing ?). Yeah they are pretty wide. Did you notice how narrow they were when still installed with 235's ? The tread ended about 1.5 inches inside the edge of the rim.
As far as re-hooped, there is a strip about 3.5 inches wide on...
the 235/60-14's that were on it were much too narrow for the rim. The last pic shows it on the car with the 235's. I checked the part number on the rim , but that is for a 14x5.5 rim....these are a lot wider than 5.5
