I was wondering if power steering gearbox P/N G-3643012 is interchangeable with a G-2267262 on a 71 charger.
I have looked for charts online and here, but didn't find anything.
Thanks !
I want to raise the front ride height on my charger. Is it really as simple as just turning the torsion bar adjustment screw clockwise to apply more load ? I will be getting the car aligned very soon, so I would like to pick up the front about an inch.
Racing school is awesome ! I did my HPDE with PCA (Porsche Club of America). Then raced with them and SCCA, before going to endurace racing in the Champcar series. It was Chumpcar back then. Great racing and lots of seat time !
I saw something the other day that piqued my interest. I had never heard this before, so I bring it to the braintrust.
I saw an ad for mopar torsion bars. The ad stated...I believe..that the seller had a pair of torsion bars for a 318.
My question is, knowing that engines have different...
Why not ? If the ride is good and you just want some body lift, why not use shackles. When you add a leaf you are stiffening the rear ride.
I am just asking...
I want to bring the rear up just a whisker. I was thinking of going old school and just toss on a pair of Hotchkiss spring shackles. I know the best route would be new or competition springs, but need to use the money on other items. So, for this year it's shackles or nothing.
Whattya think ...
