I bought a kit from Classic for my '69 Coronet, i did not use all screws but i did found everything i needed and was a good fit.
I did have some screw holes that were overtightened in the past and had to use a different/bigger screw for that.
Good results...i took the easy way and got myself a repo kit.
Does look as original but a waste of money seeing you guys busy.
Maybe a tip for some:
After all the restoration work, incl. painting you could improve on grounding.
Normally this goes through the mounting screws, the aluminium body...
Damn, never thought of what is actually holding it in place..
Indeed will need to fabricate something similar, i can see the use of these backing plates how they will pull the medallion "in" the seat.
Does anyone know if the Legendary foam does apply the horse shoe shape in the cover as shown...
See below links, is that all required to redo the front (bucket) seats?
No other foam mouldings required? (seen some horse shoe shaped things coming across but don't remember where)
Obviously require a new vinyl cover as well but this is all that is required to fill it right?
Also a hog rings...
Hey all,
I am planning to order all that is needed to restore my bucket seats and rear bench with new foam, filling and vinyl covers.
Now I know the front seats have a medallion, but does the rear seat also had these?
I have seen some pictures with and some without the medallions on the rear...
Headrest "hardware" will not be included if the car came without, but as far as i know the seat will have the provision to get it installed by using a installation kit. (check at Classic Industries for a headrest installation kit)
Should be no drilling or welding additional parts to the frame...
See the picture of my Bucket seat, think the mechanism will be the same.
The frame of the back seat rests against the pin, the same pin where the latch catches on.
The latch will not be the problem, the latch only holds when the back rest is pushed forward.
That pin will be bend due to an...
On the new headliner should be several white cloth lines where the bow should be installed in to hold the liner.
You can see a part of it in post #3, last picture.
If that is not on there i guess you have to glue it against the cardboard backing, but you probably will have to buy that new and i...
As a last resort, you could use a center punch and tap some dents in the brass bushing/housing to tighten it up agains the ball?
Never done this but that's what i would try before replacing it with a repo.
Here is some:

Below some pictures of my headliner replacement, buy i set of these small clips to hold the liner in...
First thing to do is install the bows in the new headliner, either reuse the old ones or have a set of new ones ready.
All bows are different and you need to have the in the correct sequence.
These bows are supported by these little clips.
Do a search here on the forum because i learned from...
Hallo Willem,
Good to see another Dutch member here, where do you live?
And yes, you really need to add a picture of your ride. :)
As per manual i can only find the 4-door installation procedure being similar as for the hardtop version, which is with the use of small clips that hold the metal...
I've used it on my '69 B-body.
Never seen the other brands but the Legendary looks as original and quality wise is good.
Pretty tough material thinking of all the pulling and stretching I did to get it in place.
