What i would do is spray it with the epoxy primer then spray it with several coats of sealer. Sealer is water proof. Most sealers & epoxy primers you can get in gray, black & white. What name brand are you using ?

i took the vinyl top off a 74 challenger once & there was no paint under it just gray primer

In my area depending on color & paint type it could be between $1,500 & $2,500 just for the paint materials. That is no sand paper, tape, masking paper, ect.

I have used AMD full quarters on 69 barracuda, 70 duster, 71 gtx & they all fit awesome. I didn't have to do much body work on them. They were that nice & straight but these things wow !

The 68 coronet I am working on had the lower rear quarter & trunk extensions cut off before I got the job. Anyone have pictures of that area without the bumper ? Thanks

I clean all the old out. wire brush it. Spray it all down with permatex rust converter. The next day I put a nice size bead on with paintable seam sealer. Put on a latex glove & get a small can or cup of laquer thinner. Using the thinner & a finger smooth it out.

Yes you are right. Ilooked it up in a paint chip book. GG-1 dodge is racing green for Plymouth its forest green. I also see a 66-1 in dodge as dark green no 66-1 in plymouth

On a 68 dodge what is the difference between the GG-1 racing green & the 66-1 dark green ? Any pictures ?
