Have to admit, if you're a car thief, a $100K, PURPLE, HEMI car should either go straight into a waiting enclosed truck trailer, or if you can't do that then just give up and steal a '75 Monte Carlo like everyone else.
You disclose that it's a clone when you sell it. And if you've cloned right, then you explain what "clone" means -- that a letter of the alphabet will be missing from the VIN and fender tag. That's all.

I would definitely go and look at it. $13K for a 1970 Charger in decent shape leaves a lot of play money for the fix-ups that might be needed to make it awesome. This is one of the greatest car designs of all time, so worth a personal check-out for sure.
