I know the air grabber on my 70 model just uses the regular springs, they wouldn't cut the springs on them because they are heavier than a regular hood. Maybe some one on here will have a set they will sell you. Good Luck with it. Ronnie in Okla.
There should be 2 vent tubes in it, the one that runs up in the trunk and a smaller one that mounts on the under side on the frame. sounds like some thing is stopped up and after shaking it up it pressures it out the vent. Goog Luck hope you find it

The tube that the shifter is on, does it have a bushing in the bottom of it to make a seal on the shaft. Can you show a picture of the bottom of it where it goes on the bottom? I know a guy you can get that high priced main bushing from a lot cheaper than they are advertised. Thanks Ronnie
Got a 70 collumn shift 70 RR, is there some kind of bushing that goes in the bottom of the steering collumn? Any body got any pictures ? It just looks like there should be some thing where the shaft comes out to center it. It is not loose feeling but it looks like there is some thing gone...
It would seem to me you are getting some moisture in it some how, has the carpet been wet are the heater core leaking a little. Good Luck with it Ronnie
I looked at these cars, this Purple one is a F8 green car and it is not as slick as it looks. They get a lot of cars and you would really be ahead to go look at them.
Just get one at your local paint store, they use a rope seal on the back windows not a rubber seal. I don't recall which one but I'm thinking it was a 5/16" seal. Good Luck Ronnie
The little rubber seal at the top of the rail is screwed on just remove it and the glass will slide in the rail. I put the new sliders in the front rails is why i took them apart to start with. I just don't think there is enough space for it all together to go in the door. Good Luck with them...
