I will be inheriting a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible that’s needs a new top. I’m pretty mechanically inclined. How difficult is it to replace a convertible top yourself having never done so ?
Yeah, no motor is the same. This one has matching heads, stock exhaust manifolds. It screams. It would probably run even better if I could find a 2 barrel spacer. I doubt anyone makes them ? It runs too well to want to swap the intake or carb.
I bought a bone stock 73 Dart a couple months and took it out for the first time today. It has a bone stock 318. With stock intake, stock cam and 2 barrel. Today was first the time that I put it to a real test. As I obviously couldn’t do that test driving it, the day I bought it. In my mind...
Lou Brock was the first modern day base stealer. A lot has changed about the game in the past 20 years..Particularly, most teams don’t run anymore. That, among many other factors. Has made the game very boring to me. Many casual fans like to see 10 homers a game. So, the sport pushed that...

Today, only several players don’t throw 95 plus. There are a few reasons for this. Not just steroids. Other factors as well. Seaver threw hard...
Big baseball fan myself. RIP Lou Brock. He was one of the greatest of all time. Man could hit and run. I recently learned for the first time the story how Curt Flood was the first to create free agency. As much of an avid baseball fan I have been over the years. I never heard the Curt Flood...
Good news. I pulled the motor out 5 or 6 inches and I can see that the linkage is not attached. The nut and the little bracket that the linkage attaches to is not there. That appears to be good news.
Does the motor have to be mounted (grounded) to test it ?
