any 727 will have the parts you need. BUT, both trans will have to be taken apart and parts swapped to get you the slip yoke you are wanting. just as well overhaul it while you are there. NOTE: if you find a 727 that has the 2 bolt cover on the side instead of underneath the trans mount, grab it...
sorry. i have never had that year b body, so not familiar with the location. but a lot of them had the weight on the trans tail. that is why i thought it might be out of place. i
that is the transmission weight for driveline drone/moan. never saw one that was bolted above trans. see if there is a flat pad on trans tail housing and if the bolt holes match up.
excessive internal pressure. pcv not working as stated above. do you have a pan-o-vac kit on it? if not maybe look into it. we put the p-o-v on all our stuff and do not have any concerns like that.
i have run bb for a lot of years. back when drives were cheap, we bought the pinned one. then they went up. use stock one and pin it yourself. we have done that also. never had a problem with home pinned unit.
i do all the trans for our race cars. all of a sudden we started having front seal leaks when we started with stroker motors. i almost gave up on doing them anymore when we found out that a lot of stroker motors have too long a crank snout at the conv end. look very closely at the front pump...
yes. i had had 4 65 coronets with 4 speed. i would google search 1965 dodge coronet 4 speed with bench seat and look at the results. several out there.
what we do instead of putting bthe shim between the rear brg and the pinion, is we put it between the rear race and housing. that way you only knock out the race and dont have to remove brg each time. works out the same.
