hemi carter carbs have a small air cleaner mounting flange, the holley sniper would have the larger mounting flange , like a std holley carb. the classic ind, base would have to be modified for the larger bore size on the air cleaner mounting flange
anyone know if a gen II hemi will fit in a 66 charger with stock power brake booster ? or if a small will need to be put in first? I see Dr Diff sells smaller one's. thanks
should be able to take a butter knife or something of the sort thats dull slide it by the weather strip by the vent window and flip up the latch, I have done it before.
now that you say it's a newer starter I would bet the hot wire from the battery might have moved a little and is touching the small stud or nut on the stud.
the tap size is 5/8 x 20, I've done it also, I made plugs out of the nipple fitting, cut off the nipple an braze the hole shut. worked fine. I think you can buy the plugs also.
