How big an impact does elongated lug holes have on old steel wheels as far as balance and wobble?

Trying to find a new look for my 62 Fury. One possibility I’m thinking of is wire spoke wheels. I tried these spoke hub caps on yesterday to get an idea. They are from a newer Chrysler. They needed cleaning and polishing. What do you think? Maybe without whitewalls?

im looking at a set of Ford 15x6” steel wheels. I know the bolt pattern will fit but will any of the dog dish Mopar hub caps fit on these? The raised center of the wheels look to be larger diameter than 10” and it is uniformly circular, doesn’t have the three nubs.
Another one of those open ended question posts. My 62 Fury currently has 8.25x14 bias ply tires on steel wheels. Great for big car shows and all to capture the OEM look but terrible on these mountain roads. I’m thinking I’ll get another whole set of wheels and tires to use for most of my local...
Got a question - has anyone replaced the crappy OEM lug nuts on a new Charger or Challenger? Any reason regular acorn style nuts in 14mm x 1.5mm and the 60 degree conical seat will not work well? The OEM uses 14x1.4 bulged acorns with the 60 degree seat and the stupid sheet metal cap that goes...
