Restoring my switch panel. Worst thing I'm dealing with right now is the chrome plated rocker switch buttons with tainted / peeling chrome. I've got two panels to choose parts from, but none the less I don't have ideal buttons to choose from.

Am I crazy thinking that the the pedal brackets/hardware was unpainted steel and the only thing that was painted was the lower 2/3 of the pedals themselves?

Here are the best two backing plates I've extracted from my two cars (68 and 69 'X).
I certain both these came from the 68.
So something is different between the two obviously. So which one is correct for a '68? Also if you have a mate to make a complete correct set let me know!
It's interesting what you find when you tear down a 68 and a 69 GTX and compare parts side by side....many are the same....many are not! So these are the rear axle bump stops that mount to the frame..so what is your guess as to which is from a 1968 and which is from a 1969?
So do these look like OEM disc brakes for a b-body? They look like 2 or 4 piston calipers.
Are they worth having or go with aftermarket? What models / years would have actually came with these?
I see AMD offers two different hoods for what is apparently early and late 1968 hoods for RR and 'X's
they talk about a different dimension between something like the hood latch or some other mounting point? Can anyone clarify,
