I picked up a basket case 71 Plymouth Satellite. It has a Rallye cluster and a non-2speed wiper motor.
It included two different switches, a 3 speed switch (click, click, click) and a variable speed switch (click/sweep, click).
The wiper motor has a part number of 3431096 that is inoperable...
I have a 1971 Plymouth Satellite. 360 2bbl.
I've found a pretty decent deal on this.
70 Plymouth Cuda Dodge Challenger E-Body Engine harness 318 2-bbl
Would this harness work? Bulkhead connectors the same? Everything connect in the same place?
I can't seem to find a reproduction that is for small blocks, so I have questions.
1. Does it exist?
2. Will the big block fit/work/connect?
3. Difference between BB/SB?
I don't care about concourse, what's right, I just need a cable that will work...
So I got my Rallye gauges installed in my 71 Charger and I like having the original 7k tach. that said it's got a weird issue. At higher RPM's the needle will sometimes stick after the rpms drop. So to get it to start registering the correct rpms I have to rev it up higher than the stuck point...
So I bought a 71-74 B-body rallye cluster at a swap meet. It's a non-tach non-clock. It had parts of a wiring harness on the back, but I think it's a harness for a tach setup. I think this because it has an extra light socket with nowhere to put it.
Also there are 2 spade terminals, one a...
71 Charger 318 w/points. When I originally bought my used car the voltage regular "guts" had melted and run down the firewall. When I replaced it the 2 bolts wouldn't keep it tight on the firewall. Does the voltage regulator need to be grounded on the firewall to work?
If so how can I keep...
1971 Dodge Charger 318 auto. Rebuilt engine, rebuilt carb, rebuilt transmission. A week ago after alignment and on it's maiden voyage it was running fine, drove it for 2 days without trouble.
Day 3 went to take it on an hour drive to work, about 3 mins into the drive a backfire and started...
Hey guys, 1971 Dodge Charger, standard gauges here. I'm going to list all the things I have going on to see if any are related.
1. Parking lights work, but not headlights. I'm pretty sure I just need a new headlight switch.
2. Turn signals work externally, but no cluster lights and no...
Okay, so I'm troubleshooting 2 dead cylinders. Here's what I have and what I've done.
Started out with a Rebuilt 318 engine, Rebuilt distributor, new cap, new rotor, new plugs, new plug wires and a new pertronix Ignitor 1381a points eliminator kit. I set the timing correctly by putting it @...
Howdy Folks... So... trying to find a 90 degree boot/terminal/connector to replace the factory one. The wiring to it has breaks and isn't giving good continuity.
I found this...
I've read about bypassing the factory ammeter and using a volt meter in it's place. I've read the Mad Electric article about the weak link being the factory flat blade/terminal in the factory bulk head connectors.

Here's my...
In the future I'll be redoing the wiring harnesses on my R/T tailights and I need to make a harness for my hide-a-way headlights. Who/Where are you guys going to buy your factory correct connectors? I'll be soldering and using heat shrink and braided flex looms so I want things to look nice...
