Does anyone know what I can buy to replace a missing 1/2” rear side marker socket? Pictures below show my original (that I need another one to splice in) and a Doorman versions which is too big (3/4).
Thanks MF
Having trouble identifying one wire out of my steering column. Its a thin black wire. Any one know what its for and how it’s connected? I am using a custom connector for the steering column/ ignition system connector. Here’s a pic>
Getting ready to get the headliner in and found that the dome light routing looks stuck inside the frame somewhere in the A pillar. Where does the wires come through to the harness connector?
It does not pull through and wondering how tight it is to fish through. Any inputs on getting it out...
Has anyone updated this dinosaur? Seems like a waste of $30 for a new one. A simple 555 timer circuit would be way more reliable.
I know this topic has been posted by others in the past just curious if there has been any updates.
Note: Not holding my breath….
Trying to figure out how mother Mopar mounted the headlight l/key warning buzzer. There is like very little slack in the harness so it can’t be very far.
Thanks
Duel white wire to single female. Can not locate on the schematic. Any one recognize where this goes? It is a ground or at least terminates to a single white wire that looks like a ground lug.
Thanks MF
can’t grab and turn the bulb with my apparent fat fingers. Anyone know an easy way to get the bulb out? Can’t imagine doing this when it’s in the dash lol
Oh and where can I get one of these bulbs?
Thanks MF
So my wire harness has 4 spade connectors that hooked up to my headlight switch (shown here). Was there a connector in the harness for this or was it discrete wires like mine has now? Schematic does not show this detail well and my harness may have been modified.
Thanks MF
I dont have an owners manual (1970 Sport Satellite/Belvedere), schematics dont show fuse values that I can see and the front panel values washed or worn away. Sooooooooooooooooooooo does anyone have the values of fuse for each circuit?
Thanks, MF
So I have identified every wire on my 1970 instrument harness but 3 wires all the same circuit/node. The wires are all white and are identified below. Does anyone know what circuit these are associated with? The only white wires I see on the schematic is the stop brake and wiper switch.
For a 1970 BBody Ignition harness connector on the column to the Instrument harness.
3 Questions folks:
1. Whats the max current on a given pin under worst case load? I assume its the red battery connection?
2. What is the current rating on the factory Molex connector?
3. Is there a source...
From my 1970 Satellite. Its a 6 pin connector that mates to the body connector but its not related to that circuit.
Its got only 5 wires (I think—BL, WT, TN, TN , BR) and I can’t locate on any of my schematics.
Thanks! MF
I am going to add relays on my headlights to be kind to the power in the harness. I am wondering if anyone one of you guys have done this before?
I plan to pick off the old feed lines as control (high beam L3-16R and low beam L4-16V after the bulkhead) and use a simple relay with a dedicated...
So I am in the process of rebuilding my instrument harness and perform the MAD ammeter bypass mod. The fuse box and Bulkhead connectors are in good shape but the fuse terminals have some rust and and I want to do more than use circuit cleaner BUT I dont want to degrade the plastic or wire...
Anyone know where I could find one of there? I dont think they are in production but wonder what the new fuse box repo's use? I could use just one if one can be located.....not holding my breath...
Seems like Black AND Red are used for Vbatt any rational reason why Chrysler did this? Black has traditionally been relegated for ground but in my 1970 Red and Black are Vbatt.
So I am going to be doing some mig welding on the car like real soon. What precautions should I take such that I don’t damage my electronics. I am running an MSD Billet dizzy with a MSD 6AL box. Factory AM radio boogie alternator and um I think thats the whole entirety of electronic stuff.......
