1964 Plymouth Savoy

About this Mopar:

My savoy project, when i saw her i couldn't help but think i want to save her, seeing the issues she had and stuff she was missing, i was like this is definitely a re-builder, rust isn't horrible ive seen much worse, most the areas that are concern are same areas that patch panels are very inexpensive n available everywhere, i originally had the thoughts of swapping her to a big block, then my pap, spoke of the things you could do with a slant 6, after some debate, i decided to keep the slant 6, shes more less going to be a resto mod, completely original isn't my thing. i plan on getting the most i can out of old girl, i found a 225 slant for 200$ bucks locally not locked up still a good running motor. i plan to tear her down punch her out some, beef up the internals, and throw some boost to her, i was debating what wheels i wanted to run, my thoughts were the cragar ss vintage wheels, well i put a set on there, and i liked it but i didnt at same time, with the 2 extra doors, to me it didnt fit, so i sold them, i went through Jegs and so far purchased a set of cragar delux 69 series wheel, purchased 15x4 1/2s for the front and a pair of 165/80/15 tires, rears i pruchased 15x8's have yet to decide on tire size. My car is a slant 6 car, i found out some time after buying her she was a 3 on tree car, didnt notice with all the pedals etc missing. i did however notice the shifter on the floor, i assumed that someone swapped a auto into her, then figured out it was a old floor shifter converison. so now im in process of trying to trakc down 3 speed parts, and get her back to way she was.
