1969 Dodge Super Bee

This is my 1969 Super Bee, original 383 Magnum

About this Mopar:

My first car was a 1969 Super Bee in high school but I had to sell it a few years later for financial reasons. I told myself that someday I would have another one. Using the money from my Mom’s estate, I found this one in a junk yard in Georgia and it was in really bad shape. I did almost all of the restoration in my pole barn. It has the original numbers matching 383 Magnum. Love this car, my wife calls it “the other woman”

The Super Bee is beautiful You did a great job on the restoration. I have a somewhat similar story about my 1964 Dodge. I talked my wife into going to look a the car. My wife said it was a pretty car. A month later we went back for a test drive. I told matya wife I was going to make an offer for the car. She wanted to know how I was going to pay for the car. When my mother passed away she had left me some stock in the company she had worked for at that time. I had invested the money and made a few withdrawls over time. I told her that I was going to use the money from mom's
stock. She told me well your mother would have wanted you to have something you would enjoy. Ironically my mom drove a 1964 Dodge (same color but was a 4 dr) for many years. In fact I got my drivers license in her 1964 Dodge

That’s a great story. I think my mom would be pleased with what I did with her money.
