I purchased my 71' Roadrunner from a neighbor. I'm the second owner of the car. I'm sure it's all original metal but I know the car had work done in 89'. The previous owner took very good care of the car. I'm typically an E body guy but this car is growing on me. It's a 383 4 barrel car automatic on the floor. 14" tires with jack still in trunk. May be for sale in October.
Very nice RR, Sean. I do see something quite interesting. The instrument cluster in every 71-72 RR/GTX I've ever owned (about 10) has had ralley instruments as standard equipment. yours has satellite standard dash, which was not an option on the RR. I'm wondering if someone has changed this out, or it was a factory mistake. A pic of the fender take and dash VIN would help. Thanks, Chris.

Hello Chris, I had my car appraised and indeed it has been Re bodied. I actually went to the body shop who did the car. They purchased a body only"no fenders" from death valley in 98' and yes its a 71 Roadrunner body and I will share the vin when I get home. He said car was put back together just as it came a part so the sweeper dash was factory along with the marker lights inboard on the hood. I would really like to somehow verify the sweeper dash. can this be done through build sheet?
