1973 Roadrunner
About this Mopar:
The car I have come to know as The Blackbird. It was originally a white 1973 Plymouth Satellite exterior/white vinyl top/red-black-white interior 318/904 2 bbl grocery getter. Converted to a manual transmission because IMHO real muscle cars have three pedals. Pulled the seized 318/904 dropped in the 360/833 OD. Basically bought everything I could think of from rock auto, brakes shocks suspension parts, lights battery, etc etc. Repaired the rusted out places and painted the car all one color. Got it road worthy again. After sitting in a yard for over a decade its no surprise that nothing worked at first. It was pieced together from countless donor cars, eBay items and just plain luck to get this car together in the time frame it was completed in. The only thing that isn't working on the car now is the AC which will be going soon I need a few more parts before I start on that.
It died a Satellite but was reborn as a Roadrunner.
After years of sitting still it is now a daily driver.
