1972 Plymouth Road Runner GTX & 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8

About this Mopar:

Two one owner cars, 37 years of Mopar Muscle.

I bought the Road Runner in June 1972 from Katy Road Chrysler/Plymouth in Houston, TX, the Challenger in April 2009 from Landers Dodge in Bossier City Louisiana.

Both are one owner (me) cars. I drover the Road Runner until 1990 when I parked it. Started restoration in Dec 2003, finished in Dec 2006. Some parts were replaced with newer generation stuff, but I kept all the original stuff that the car came with. It's a GTX 440 4bbl car and came with a 727 transmission, which I repaced with a Keisler 4 spd overdrive unit. I put the US Indy Mag wheels on in 1973.

The Challenger is an SRT8 with a six speed, Mopar Performance exhaust (Corsa) cold air intake and a Hurst shifter.

Hey there,
I know these cars as (Too Blue Two) from (Allpar) years back. You were chosen as car(s) of the month and well deserved I might add! "you've got a pair, you devil you!" Very nice, I would have chosen the same two myself had the opportunity and cash both converged for me! Thanks for posting, I still check Allpar regularly. Dave Z. is a really nice guy! :):)

Update to "Too Blue Two", it's now "Too Blue Three" with the addition of a 2016 Dodge Charger Hellcat. I also "named" the cars. The Beeper is "Old Muscle", the Challenger is "New Muscle", and the Hellcat is "Grocery Getter"!
