I won't lie; I was sweating this one out. After going to the lowest drop base for the air cleaner I found that the height of the unit was going to be tight. I'd wasn't too sure if I could get the hood to close. After I had my friends come over to help install the hood last weekend my fears came true...the freakin hood and air cleaner we're arguing over real estate. This sucked because I really wanted to use the original un-silenced air cleaner. So, I did a dive for something that would fit. Summit had this K&N base with a 2 5/8 height from the throttle body to the top.... long story short I still had to shave off another 3/8 of an inch off the neck to get the clearance I was after. FYI anybody that's attempting to install the ProFlo on their second gen Charger beware of the tight hood space. Still have a couple if things to attach to the base but it FITS
