That '65 looks AMAZING ! I'd love to see it in person someday, and would really like some info on that Hilborn FI setup you have on it. Again, AMAZING !!!!!!!

The Hilborn is originally from 1968, it was purchased at a hot rod shop in Chicago IL, to a customer in Indiana. I purchased it from a drag racer in Florida. I then converted it to electronic using a Holley controller.

The seats are factory '65 Satellite seats, i had found factory 4-way power tracks, but as i age i wanted some lumbar support so i put in an aftermarket power (airbag style) lumbar support.

after driving the car for a distance i realized that the seat angle didn't suite me very well. so i went to the salvage yard and picked up a couple of 2002 300M power seats. i took the power recline mechanism out of those seats and grafted them into my original seats,

put a small rocker switch in and now i have power reclining seats that look completely original.

I had Legendary sew the custom covers and i installed them, so taking the seat apart to do all of this was easy..

Love your 65 Belvedere!! Clever how you hid the touch screen. Very nice, and discreet, touches throughout. Love the seats, never thought of doing that!

You open the hood and immediately your eyes are drawn to that 512 and its exotic fuel injection. Then you notice the battery and washer jug for a little originality! LOVE IT! Very, very nice build!
