10" to 11" clutch 440

Yes but it depends the way you look at it. A factory balance job, be it internal or external balance will be balanced, but only to an acceptable tolerance that will not demonstrate any undesirable vibrations.
A "balanced" engine to me means it has been stripped down and the components sent to a specialist engine balancing shop for a more detailed/precise balance job.
I do prefer internal balanced engines because it makes component swapping so much easier.
With some engines it is very costly to convert them from external to internal balance.

Think your opening a can of worms going to 11". You buy a flywheel if it needs to be rebalanced more money. Sell the 11" clutch rather than changing all the other stuff. You probably at worst take a small loss on the 11". Doing all that extra stuff to use the 11" may cost you more. As always it your car and my opinion.

x 2 I'm with fran
the 10.95 will fit the 10.5 bolt circle
there is no 10"
knock it off
some go dual disk
modern clutches can have less pedel pressure
clutches that ehgage hard break parts
do some research before you order an old school clutch out of a catalog

A list of bellhousing applications here if it helps.....
https://www.bigblockdart.com/techpages/4sptech.shtml

You'll see there was a cast iron bell application with '68 & '69 big blocks (not hemi) with the 11" clutch and 143 tooth flywheel. For header applications and clearance you might consider fitment for those years / models.
The '70 model year started the aluminum housing and used the 130 tooth flywheel, along with the an 11" "scalloped" or 10.95" clutch setup. A 10-1/2" clutch setup will also fit this fly BTW.

If your Lakewood housing was / is set for the 130 tooth fly, to go to the 143, you'll need to move the starter pilot boss to the outboard position and remove the block saver cutout to accommodate your starter.

I think the last 3 posters(and some before) are making a lot of sense in my opinion.
A 10.5 inch clutch will take a lot before it craps out.
If you destroy a 10.5 an 11 inch would be pretty well wounded.
