Or hidden hood latches or gas caps under tail lights! My 47 Buick's hood opens from the chrome decorations on the side and it opened ether way left side or right side I made so much money betting people they couldn't get the hood open in under 10 mins no phones for help

Very cool , a couple things come to mind when the boys were little they couldn't roll the windows down or open the doors the handles were different.
I've also loved the vent windows .
The gas cap at the back was notorious for fuel splashing out while you were bent down filling ,
You could tell what car was coming at you from a mile away from the front light pattern .

Seats are comfortable in the SRT4. I have a [air of them in my Charger.

Like bb70 said- my uncle had a '56 Olds hydramatic. You could pull out of driveway in reverse and slam it in drive and wait&go. Same thing happened if you coasted thru a left-hand turn,rev it up and all of a sudden 'drive' was there..

To add to the list:

- My '70 Duster 340 had a rubber bulb on the floor you pushed with your foot to get the windshield washer to squirt fluid.
- A couple older trucks on the farm had a foot activated push button on the floor to engage the starter.
- Prior to '68(?) most cars did not have 'hazard lights'. (My '66 doesn't have them).

I have an after market, new old stock kit, to put 4-ways on your 66' for sale, if your interested. Forty buck plus the freight.

I know this was a Ford/Mercury feature, but I liked the sequential turn lights the phony and t-birds had.

When I was about 16 a girl I "knew" who was a few years older had a Rambler of some sort and the front seat backs went down flat to the rear seat .. needless to say I tried to knock the bottom out of that thing as often as I could ..

My friends dad has a 66 GS w a 401 and a 67 GS w a 400. Both are numbers matching survivors. Beautiful cars.
