Looking for any experience or tips. Probably won’t make it this year but planning for 2021.

I’ve never been to this type of race before. I see that they have RV spots for rent. I don’t have access to an RV but would consider renting one for the experience.
Any opinions vs. staying in a hotel off site?
As far as tickets, I see they have General admission, and it looks like various manufacturers sell tickets to their areas as well.
The rough plan is to head down with a few friends a day early, stay for the race, probably a day to recover, and then head out.
Any thoughts or tips appreciated, thanks!
