14" tires are getting hard to find except for trailers. What is the widest and tallest radial street tire available? My stock 1969 Road Runner wheels are 14X7.

stock 69 Chrysler corp 14" wheels are not 7" wide. Show us a photo.
14" tires are not hard to find. They can be at a local retailer, because they only stock what they sell.
Click here, I own a set of these and they are great.
Mastercraft Avenger G/T P225/70R14 98T WL Tires

225/70R14 is tallest and widest. And the wider the wheel the tire spreads out.

So if you do have 7" wide wheels you are in.

Biggest/widest 14 radial i know of that's available, is a 245/60x14.
And it's a T/A. 235/60 is more available. In more brands.

M&H makes a bias treaded drag tire (Basically a slick with tread) 235/60
Hoosier makes a 26/9.5x14 quick time pro, a slick with grooves.
Both are DOT, but a terrible choice for most street drivers.

Thanks for all the input. Appears that 225/70R14 will be best in my circumstances.

The look

Im impressed with the tires
Ride nice, are quite and zero vibration issues

Hopefully these questions are relevant enough to ask here...

What are thoughts about running a 235/60 14 on a 6" wide wheel?

Will 235/60's have any clearance issues on a 66 Coronet (rear only)?

Thoughts? According to tire size, a 235 should be on a 6.5 to 8.5 wheel.
A half inch wouldn't bother me, I'd run em.
Will a 235 clear? Probably, unless the wheel has a rediculous backspace. 3-3.5 bs, should fall on. 4+" bs, I'd definitely check first.
2" bs, probably won't fit.
Point being.... you'll have to do your own measuring, depending on the wheels you're using.

Thanks. I don't have the wheels yet, just PM'd a member here who is selling a pair but I don't know the backspacing.

In that case..... make sure he knows how to measure a wheel width. A wheel is measured from bead to bead, not overall width
In other words, a six inch overall width, could be a five or five and a half inch wheel.
I wouldn't run a 235 on a five.
