The difference between a 225/70 - 14 and a 245/60 - 14 isn't huge.
Thanks. I don't have the wheels yet, just PM'd a member here who is selling a pair but I don't know the backspacing.Thoughts? According to tire size, a 235 should be on a 6.5 to 8.5 wheel.
A half inch wouldn't bother me, I'd run em.
Will a 235 clear? Probably, unless the wheel has a rediculous backspace. 3-3.5 bs, should fall on. 4+" bs, I'd definitely check first.
2" bs, probably won't fit.
Point being.... you'll have to do your own measuring, depending on the wheels you're using.
In that case..... make sure he knows how to measure a wheel width. A wheel is measured from bead to bead, not overall widthThanks. I don't have the wheels yet, just PM'd a member here who is selling a pair but I don't know the backspacing.

In other words, a six inch overall width, could be a five or five and a half inch wheel.
I wouldn't run a 235 on a five.
Emptied some space.Got it. Thanks. FYI, your inbox is full.
