B4F8C716-8E56-4A06-991F-A4FA6AFE2BEB.jpeg I am finall going to pull the trigger on a set of 17x8 TorqueThrust rims. For the rear, do you want a positive or negative offset? The pic shows the 3 choices available. For a 69 Bee.

For more of a classic look on a 17” rim, Do I want a positive or negative offset?
What kind of offset in the pics?

THANK YOU!!! Those look nice. It looks like you have some profile in the tire as well.

The front tire side facing inward is about dead even with factory the outward facing side sticks out about 1/2 inch further
The rear tire is about inch wider on each side
And back tire is 1 inch taller than front

I was thinking about going with 7s for the front and 8s on the back. What tire is that and are you happy with them?

If you call it in they will mount and balance them for you. I ordered mine online and they came separately

I ordered mine back in 2006 and cut the rear down to make them work for my car.

My rears were at that time the most backspace you could get...They are 17x12 with 7 1/2" backspace...
                I wasn't going to buy them unless I could find a big tire for them...Hoosier had a 17 x 16.5 x 31" tire I went with...

By using this rim I can change back to almost any 8...9 or 10" wheel and tire I want to in the future and the car will not look like a back-halved car.

The Dana 60 was cut down to be 3/4" narrower on each side than a stock 65 B Body rear housing...

The front runners I bought were 15 x 3 1/2...and are still new in the box...

Life took over and it has been sitting...someday I'll be able to get back to work on it again...

I despise that metric offset bullshit, it's just confusing and unnecessary. (And say, if metric is necessary , why aren't the wheels .432 meters x.178 meter wheels?). If you use backspace, everyone understands, and you don't even need to know the width of the wheel.
The last wheels I ordered from AMERICAN wheel were custom 15x12, and they asked me to specify backspace. I got exactly what I ordered, 3 1/2 backspace. I have no f-ing idea what the offset is, in metric or real dimensions, and I don't care.
