Gettin ready for the summer shows

Finally finished the remaining wiring over the past two days, tomorrow will be the first day on the road after 1 1/2 year resurection.

In-case anyone was curious, this was a California car, at some point was in a flood, ask me how I know…fine mud residue/ sediment every where including all the way up into the taillight’s. Car had no rust but needed everything, so long story short, unlike my custom painted 68 Coronet, I wanted something to take to shows that I didn’t need to worry about, so I went with Satin Black, easy to touch up, not excusing some behaviors we have all experienced at car shows, less worry sum, and hopefully allowing kids to experience sitting in and touching the car….its only iron, anyway, next steps after test hits tomorrow, will be hand lettering and some throwback ram charger stripes across the hood and deck lid. Stay Tune!

I see your fender trim sits exactly like mine.. slightly higher than the door... i'm just gonna assume it's normal now and not let it eat at me

Hey Dave, not bringing that one up just yet. Trying to get it ready for MCACN this year. Then next year for Carlisle. Going to bring the 63 Savoy this year to Carlisle. Nice to hear from you, hope all is well. See you in a couple of weeks?

Back on the lift, runs strong, working through some gremlins…hard start when hot, going to revisit the ground cable, with the battery in the trunk and the shut off switch, hopefully that will clear things up.
